Game Talk: Rediscovering My Love Of Solitaire

There are many different perspectives of what being a gamer means. There are some who look down on others. They claim that they aren’t authentic gamers. There are also some that pose as gamers because they think it will get them some kind of gain. To me personally, if you enjoy playing games of any kind and can spend hours playing games with no guilt, you’re a gamer. Board games. Video games. Computer games. Card games. They are all amazing.

On the note of card games, I recently remembered that most computers come with preloaded games. Including solitaire. I discovered they are all in one place now. You can earn these coins and level up in the games now. I’m still learning, but it seems pretty neat. They even have daily challenges!

I’m still playing a bunch of phone app games for side cash. I’m also playing Rise of Legions daily. I don’t play every game every day. The only ones I play every single day are the ones that have daily tasks that have to be done that day. I’m not trying to burn myself out. I was just very happy to have discovered the computer game I did and wanted to share it! Anybody else a solitaire fan like me?

Weekly Game Update: 3/7/20

It’s been a pretty interesting week. I’ve been struggling to get caught up on audiobooks so I’ve had a lot of game play time. I’m telling you. There are not enough hours in the day! I wound up falling down a rabbit whole of money making apps. They aren’t things that will completely kill any need to work. They will eventually get me a bit of spending money here and there. I don’t expect to be making a killing. I won’t lie, I do wish it was a bit faster. It is what it is though.

We had two different nights where we didn’t complete dailies. We were distracted with doing other things. We both got hired with a company we’ve been aiming for! It’s exciting! We don’t start until the 20th. But we will work things out! Either way, I’m still loving this game. I’m just juggling too many at one time. Some are falling through the cracks. Hoping I’ll get more into this game soon. I don’t hate it. It’s just falling through the cracks! Please feel free to friend me if you play! My ID is 9302460. It’s free to play on Steam. Please note that you can’t add friends until you’re level 5.

I have no racked up just a bit over $40 with this app. Just $10 more dollars and I can cash in. I expect it to take about a month or so. Who knows? It’s still fun to play. I get my scratching kick in without spending a ton of money. Money that I can’t afford to throw away! I don’t get on as much. They reset the cards and eggs every 8 hours for me now. I get on about once a day. Twice a day if I remember. I’m working on it. If you haven’t tried it, please join using My Link.

I started an app called Word Juice. It’s a pretty decent game. It’s kind of like all the word apps like it, but you can earn a bit of cash. I’ve so far earned $26. I can’t cash out until I hit $100. You get a bit of change for every round. Which helps. You have the chance to double what you earn with an advertisement. If you wind up trying it out, please consider using My Link

This game has probably taken up most of my time where games are concerned. It is a cash app, but you really don’t get a TON of cash. I have earned $3.23. Either way, the game itself is really fun! I’m enjoying it so much! I may be earning slowly, but I’m earning. That’s what matters to me! I can cash out at $10. It’s called Fishing Cashing. The name could use some work. I won’t lie. I still enjoy it. My Invite Code is 58573. Feel free to join me!

I’ve played some Idle games. They were pretty decent at first. I’ve earned money. Each one has about $20 on it. I am not able to cash out until I play the game for 30 days and some other challenges. It makes me feel like they won’t pay. We will see. I’ll mess with it for the 30 days and go from there.

I may have more games to report next week. What games have you played this week?

Weekly Game Update: 2/29/20

I’ve decided instead of talking about a game every week, I’d just post my updates on the games I play. I have this habit of getting stuck on a game and playing it until I get burned out. So this is just easier.

Rise Of Legions

Haven’t really played this game much except to get the dailies done. I did tweak some of my decks. My fiance and I play this game together. We do co-op challenges against computers. It can get a bit tedious at times, but we find ways to make it fun. It’s really great when I sneak spells or cards on his side to see if he notices! If you’re interested, it’s free on Steam. If you play and like it, once you hit level 5, you can add friends. My friend code is: 9302460

Best Fiends:

They have been looping events around. It’s cool because they save your progress, but it can be overwhelming. I managed to string a VIP chain that lasted for days. I finally ran out yesterday or the day before. Haven’t had much time to commit to earning more back. I’m on level 230. I can’t say the levels have been smooth sailing, but they aren’t irritating for the most part.

Dice Royale:

There’s an app called Mistplay. You earn points towards gift cards for playing apps that they recommend. This is one of them. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have even tried it. The ad is completely bogus. The game is nowhere near as entertaining as they portray it to be. The main complaint is it takes forever to get money. My only response to that is: Well, yeah. They are ad supported. You don’t put any of your own money into it. Just saying.

Happy Scratch:

I can’t remember where I found this app. It’s decent. I’m not in love with it, but if it earns me a bit of cash, why not? Also, I have this thing where I love scratching scratch off cards. I hate paying for them, but I love scratching them off. My family used to let me when I was a kid. They claimed I was good luck. Anywho, I haven’t cashed out for the first time yet, but I’m about $10-15 away from being able to do so. I can’t complain.

That’s all the games I have played this week that I can think of. I have piddled with some coloring apps, but I don’t really count those as games. What games have you been into this week?

Game Talk: Best Fiends

I used to use this app where I earned points for gift cards for playing apps. One of the games I played was this one. At the time, I enjoyed the game very much, but I had issues with it costing so much to level up the fiends. Eventually, I stopped playing. My fiance played it as well and he stopped when I did. It’s possible that I may have stopped because he stopped. I’m not really sure.

We both decided to start playing it again. It seems they have changed the game a lot. I find that I enjoy it more than I did. I’m also able to get through the levels really easy. I believe I started it again Friday, but it may have been Saturday. I’m not really sure. I just know that I am on level 132. I didn’t start at level 1. I can’t remember what level I left off when I quit, but I have made a bit of progress since I started playing again.

So far, I own 14 Fiends. I have gotten all of them to level 9. I’ve already started evolving some of them to 10. It’s a bit expensive, so it’s a slow process. But it’ll be worth it. Whenever I get a new Fiend, I boost them up to the level all the rest of them are right away. It’s probably silly, but I enjoy doing it.

I’m not really sure how to explain the game honestly. However, there are constant ads for the game. It’s really fun and it’s free. I think it’s only available on Android, but I’m not fully sure on that. It’s worth at least giving a chance. If you play, please feel free to let me know! I love chatting with people about games we have in common!

Game Talk: Rise Of Legions

I talk all the time about my love of reading. It’s a given that it’s a favorite hobby by now. I also have other hobbies I enjoy that I’d like to discuss more. I love writing. I love coloring. I love singing. Not that anybody will ever hear me sing, but still. I also love playing games. I wouldn’t call myself a hardcore gamer, but I’ve been known to obsessively play a few games.

The game I’m playing currently is Rise of Legions. I’ve been playing it since it released. I really love it. It’s a pretty easy and straight forward game. You can play against people. You can play against computer. You can play by yourself or with other people. It’s great. It’s also completely free!

I feel like it’s basically a computerized capture the flag. You make a deck of fighters from whatever colors you wish. There are three phases. Each card has a certain phase that it can start being played in. The later the stage, the more the cost of summon is. The main mission is to overtake the opposite side, over take three markers, and get to their side and destroy their nexus before they can destroy yours.

Other than playing rounds, they also offer newbie challenges, daily tasks, and weekly tasks. You earn cards, coins, and crystals by completing them. You can also unlock more cards by completing specific tasks. I’ve recently unlocked every card. It was awesome feeling!

I fully encourage everybody to give it a shot. It’s a free and fun game. I’ve really enjoyed playing it. So much! If you do decide to try it out, my Friend ID is 9302460. I’d love to have more friends on my list! Just a heads up, you can’t add people until you hit level 5, but it doesn’t take long to get there!
