I used to think I was the only one who struggled with this. I would spend money on others and not even think twice about it. But I question every single purchase I make for myself. Do I really need this? Could I be doing other things with the money I use to buy this? Is this a waste?

Always respect life. Then you’ll value yours. The hard part isn’t turning you into a killer. The hard part is keeping you human.

Evan was pulled from the orphanage as a kid and trained to be an assassin. His handler did everything in his power that Evan kept his humanity in the process.

The main character in this book is twelve or thirteen years old. His friend attacks a girl their age and leaves her for dead. He does nothing to stop nor help and he lives to regret his inaction for the rest of his life.
