Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Wish I Had Read As A Child

It’s time for Top Ten Tuesday! Thanks Jana from That Artsy Reader Girl for creating this meme.

This Week’s Topic: Book I Wish I Read As A Child

This wasn’t exactly easy, but it wasn’t exactly hard. I grew up with a mother who loves to read. I had great access to books. Most people gifted me books as a child as well. I was that child who always had her reading log filled front and back and with extra pages added. Anybody remember getting free personal pan pizzas for reading a certain amount of books? It was awesome!

I didn’t know this was a thing. I was talking to my fiance about this topic and he brought it up. When I told him I’d never heard of the book, he shut down for a good ten seconds. It made me wish that I had read it. That’s why it’s on the list!

I never really had access to this book. I always wanted to read it. Hearing so many people talk about it just made me want it more! I can’t believe it’s on Kindle Unlimited! I’m checking it out right now.

It just looks like it is such a cute story. I still haven’t read it 😦

I’m still sad that I haven’t read this one yet. I will. I plan to!

I didn’t find out about this until I was adult. But I still wish I read it as a child. Books are different reading as a child. There’s just this magic that you don’t really have as an adult sadly.

Do I need to say more about this one?

I loved this movie as a kid. Wish I knew it was a book series!

This is the same as BFG for me.

So crazy confession with this one. I had this book. I carried it with me everywhere for the longest time. I can’t tell you why I never actually read it. I loved the book itself. Sadly, it got lost. I still want to read it one day.

*High pitch squeaky voice* This was a book??????
