Free for InterExchange Participants and Alumni!
The InterExchange Language Partner initiative connects participants and alumni of InterExchange programs from around the world, for language practice before, during, or after programs. Participants connect via Skype, Google Hangouts, FaceTime, or sometimes in person to practice a language or start learning a new one!
We’ll introduce you to your conversation partner and provide basic guidelines, and you’ll both decide when and how to connect. We suggest one-hour sessions with half an hour for each language.
U.S. citizens
If there’s a language you want to practice we’ll try to match you accordingly, but your flexibility also helps us maximize opportunities for exchange visitors to practice their English. Exchange visitors come to the U.S. from all over the world. The program isn’t just a way to practice a language, but also a chance to build your cultural awareness and meet someone new!
Au Pair USA and Career Training USA participants
The goal of this program is more than to just improve your English-language fluency. It’s also a great opportunity to connect with Americans who have spent time abroad (or plan to!), possibly in your home country. Along with language practice, you can exchange cultural advice, stories, travel tips, and more.
